Take up and Pay Off Machinery - Cable and Wire Winding
Cable and Wire is spooled and de-spooled for use as part of an Extrusion Line during the Cable/Wire Insulation process. Pay off Stands and Take up Stands are tension controlled machines. These use Cable Drums or Reels sized to suit the specific requirement of the Extrusion line
To start and finish the cable, rope and wire making processing a pay off stand to feed the product to the next process and a take up stand to collect the product when the product is completed is required.
The style of stand is related to the size of the drum reel or spool being used and the product being processed.
Stands can be driven or non driven and in cantilever, pillar , portal or flyer format with or without drum bars.
