Braiding Machiney - Cable Screening Machinery
The braiding process has been adapted to Cable Manufacture to provide a flexible Screen shield to protect from electromagnetic interference or to provide a copper earth. Different types of Braiding Machines have been developed depending upon size and strength of the strands used.
The braid uses round or flat wires of a wide variety of materials including steel, copper, carbon fibre, and cotton. The braid required can be varied in lay length, number of wires and coverage, depending on selection, the number of carriers(ends or wires) required can be determined.
